I haven't followed the whole conversation about responsibility for thrush treatment, so forgive me if I'm off base... When my son and I had thrush 6 years ago, his pediatrician prescribed meds for both of us. Never occured to me that could be a problem. Of course, this does bring up the issue of how we compartmentalize our medical care in the US. I can't think of anywhere it's more obvious that the question of who treats breasts and their contents.
