On Monday, a CBC news program called "Health Matters" looked at the "guilt when breastfeeding fails" with Dr. Barry Dworkin (remember the guy a few months ago with the newspaper article entitled "The Hazard of Breastfeeding") and Dr. Newman, in counterpoint.

From the story:

"But sometimes, breastfeeding moms have trouble. The baby doesn't take to the breast. A mother's milk dries up. Breastfeeding is painful.
Because of this, some mothers end up switching to bottles. And this decision sometimes carries an enormous weight of guilt."

The link was too long, so you have to go to http://www.cbc.ca/television/ and do a
"Quick Search" for Health Matters, then look in Archives (June 17: Is Breast Always Best?)
