I, too, did not consider your post bashing or picking on religion, per say, but of the concept that some groups with a particular religious belief, not even necessarily all of the same church or persuasion but of their own personal take on what they believe is what their 'religion' wants and what a person needs to do to get to their eternal life and acceptance with their higher being. Your take on those particular beliefs on suffering for salvation and for a better life in the end can be in many sects, perhaps, all. And just brings to light why it may be difficult, for us, to help these mothers, fathers and families to believe that answering a babies needs is not giving in to worldly indulgence (for them or baby).
