I have been receiving a weekly email newsletter from Medscape to keep up to
date on Women's Health issues, especially those studies dealing with
breastfeeding. Last week I received a notice that Medscape is merging with
WebMD, and the only way that I could continue to get the information would
be to sign up for the WebMD newsletter. I did so, and immediately realized
that the newsletter is sponsored by a formula company. So I unsubscribed
and sent a comment to them stating my displeasure at their sponsor. I
suppose someone has to pay for this stuff, but I don't feel comfortable
taking info that is sponsored by a company who has a vested interest in the
study results. I get some of the same information from Lactnet, but some
days I just can't take the time to read all of them and have to delete them.
What do you wise ones think is the best way to keep up with the latest
science on breastfeeding?
