A student of Nicholas J. Roberts asked:

"Contemporary" is safest, because so many different styles are involved,
and that is a sliding term referring only to a time period from the
standpoint of the present.  "Postmodern" would do, but it carries so
much theoretical baggage that it might well be avoided.
