Hi all, Got this question from a friend. Does anyone have any comments? I will be forwarding your comments and suggestions to my friend. Thanks Crystal Stearns RNC, MS, IBCLC Mercy Memorial Health Center Ardmore, OK 73401 Who is the authority on the requirements of a "breastfeeding room" in a workplace or public facility? For example, I understand completely that if we were to get a breastfeeding room here at the Health Dept. We would want running water for sanitation reasons. It coincides with our recommendations to please wash hands before breastfeeding / pumping. What if we did not have that available, but we had a clean, nice room? Would that suffice for the time being? I guess I am basically asking who determines the "minimum" requirements we must have and what exactly are those requirements for a breastfeeding room? *********************************************** The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(TM) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
