A useful point to make to a new mother is that the newborn has been
floating in fluid for months, and doesn't need a lot of liquids added to
its system right away (when it may actually be trying to lose some
excess).  What the baby needs is lots of feedings of more "solid"
concentrated colostrum, which also encourages the ample production of
the more diluted mature milk, just when the baby's fluid levels need
replenishing.  Is this a great system, or what...
