Some of those "benefits" of bottle-feeding are real benefits, to be sure. But that last one, about cows' milk formula having everything it needs, is simply and totally untrue. Notice that there are NO BENEFITS to the baby from being formula-fed. As long as the hospital includes the DISADVANTAGES OF FORMULA-FEEDING along with the accurate advantages, then I see no problem. But they MUST say that, while formula-feeding does have some advantages for the mother, it will also decrease her child's IQ, and increase the risk for many diseases in childhood and throughout life.
