There should be no reason to stop nursing while using afrin nasal spray -- if
properly used it is applied directly to the site of action only for a Max of
3 day -- this is due to the high chance of rebound congestion.

the small amount of the drug that could get into moms system -- should not be
an issue

perhaps they mis read the general caution on ALL OTC's  from the FDA -- if
you are pregnant or nursing consult with your doctor or pharmacist before
using this product -- this does not mean that it is harmful.  just cover your
butt -- legalize
