In practice, I go by manufacurers recommendations, especially when it's a
drug I'm not familiar with.  Recommendations for this drug are that there
have been no studies in lactation and pregnancy and that safety and efficacy
in infants and children have not been established.  Additionally, it has many
very serious and potentially fatal side effects.  I would give this
information to the patient, but based on it, I would also recommend that she
pump and dump.
