>>I have long noticed that foods or herbs which aid digestion are the best
galactogogues. Earl Mindell recommends anise, dill and caraway. Oatstraw is
high in magnesium and calcium.<<

Ok, just for the fun of it..... did anyone know that in cows, intake of
roughage is related to the cream content of the milk? More roughage, better
milk. I don't remember if volume was also improved. Now, we don't have four
stomachs like a ruminant, but I have wondered about that roughage
relationship for humans; oatmeal would certainly fit in.

Relatedly, fenugreek is also supposed to aid digestion. I suppose this is
why it may cause diarrhea in some babies? Also note that reglan and
domperidone also affect the stomach.

I'm still wondering what the underlying tie is between all these
galactogogues; being related to stomach issues certainly is a common factor,
but what is ultimately being affected? We gotta solve this mystery.
