Annie:

You are right about me and Australia, but for comparative purposes I want to know about all seriation studies carried out of coffins and their hardware - from anywhere in the world.

I have had some very helpful replies, but it looks to me at this stage as if Pat Garrow (with his work on coffins from Georgia) is the only person to have done a study of coffins by seriation.
