Carrie wrote about the difficulty one of her mothers had feeding a congested baby at night. The paeds suggestion of a possible milk allergy is worthwhile to pursue and it can't be properly tested while the mother contains some dairy food in her diet. The other suggestion to help alleviate some of the symptoms is to put one or two drops of saline down each nostril--it often clears congestion by loosening secretions. This can easily be made at home --add a level teaspoon of salt to 500mls of cooled boiled water Marian Rigney RN _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp *********************************************** The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(TM) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
