After this comment you can no longer truthfully state that you are a
breastfeeding supporter.  Introducing an early bottle is one way to almost
guarantee that a mother will have problems with breastfeeding and that her
duration of breastfeeding will be cut short.  I feel terrible for your
patients who are relying on you, their doctor, for helpful advice and
support because what they are getting is neither - what they are getting if
this is the advice you are giving out is sabotage of their breastfeeding
relationship.
