There is more classical music being made than any of us can possibly consume even working at it full time. Since I first got interested in classical music some forty or more years ago, never has there been such a treasure trove of old and new recorded performances, and opportunities to hear live music. As long as a mere 5% of the "market" wants to hear it, there will be artists and impresarios who will bring it to us. Yes, there will be crass commercial interests who will try to find a way to make "big bucks" doing so, but they will fail and will eventually take their hucksterism elsewhere. len.
