Since utility bills go up in hot summer months, I should call my >utility company and try to get a 365 day credit. This explains why the cost of Unviersal CDs has dropped at Tower. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the drop in price. I felt humbled, had I not always preached that prices never drop? And yet here the price had dropped. Now I know why the price had dropped. It is a desperate attempt to lure customers back into the store. I don't think I am exaggerating when I say that Tower may only have a year to live. When this bill comes due, Tower had better be able to pay it back. I don't have the disdain for Tower that some listmembers seem to have. I still shop from brick and mortar stores and Tower still has the best CM selection for where I live. I would rather see Tower have lay offs and close some branches then completely go under. I think that they may need to return to the old days where Tower runs fewer branches in major metropolitan areas. Of course I live near a Metropolitan area so I would think that. Steve M.
