I'd like to echo what Cheryl Taylor White said: I hope there is someone around this mother and baby who is sensitive enough to realise the "haven" they can be for each other in this terrible time. Seemingly "well-meaning" people who would underestimate the "therapeutic" benefit of meeting her baby's needs - for mom and baby - and try to spare her the trouble of nursing her baby may do more harm than good. They would then have to pick up the pieces later when the mom realises that she lost her breastfeeding experience... as well.

Luckily, she seems to have a friendly helper, from afar...
