edie- mom needs help *fast*.  If I were her, I would
take beta-blockers  for at least a few days.  This is
not medical advice, but it's what *I* would do for
myself (if I thought of it.) She needs to get her head
destressed. Epinephrine is causing her milk to not let
down.  yikes.  then she needs to work on adjusting,
but the fact that she can't comprehend that her baby
needs to nurse is a big red flag, but her baby needs
her more than ever.

More normal stress relieving situations are going to
be very hard to convince her to try, I think.  A
massage and a warm bath just isn't going to cut it.

All of you have my sincere sympathy.  I'm so sorry.
