Boy, I'm with you in every single one of your choices! I wonder if it's unanimous... wouldn't be a bit surprised. The only thing is, raising the negative gives some mixed messages: 1)We feel the need to attack information that isn't our own 2) If you read and liked this book, you aren't one of us 3) If you don't see what's wrong with this book, you are less knowledgeable / intelligent than us etc. This comes up from time to time in LLL meetings when mothers talk about books they really loved and found helpful, and we (Leaders, other mothers) don't agree with their choice. I usually feel it's wiser to just suggest an alternative (e.g. Nighttime Parenting or Continuum Concept instead of Solving Your Own Convenience Problems), although, admittedly, before I became a Leader I sure didn't hesitate to speak out against Ferberizing.
