Why would one give AIM instead of other foods high in fat, if that is the issue? How about avacado? How about supplementing with some essential fatty acids(EFA's) to both mom and baby? Am I missing something or is the doctor really saying that we want more fat on this baby's body at the expense of neurological development, immune system health, etc? BTW, both zinc and vit A deficiency are associated with malnutrition. If the baby really is not being well-nourished, perhaps zinc is a good idea. I also tend to see FTT (not saying this baby is) with food allergies. Has this been addressed?'
