First, yes, he is the son of the famous writer. He's actually lived here most of his life, graduating from Curtis about 10 years ago. He has a dual career as a conductor as well, currently leading Philadelphia's Concerto Soloists. His piano career is doing nicely, with regular dates at Carnegie Hall.
