You might be able to find the LPs from a used LP dealer. Sherman rerecorded the Etudes on CD for Albany on TROY-028-2. I prefer the LP performance; the CD version seems a little more, well, eccentric. I don't know if the CD packaging (which feels very '60s era psychedelic) has anything to do with this impression. This version is still listed in the Albany catalog, but I don't know if one can actually get a copy. Sherman has apparently taken the Etudes "on the road" recently; maybe this presages a new recording. My LPs are in only difficultly accessible storage, otherwise I'd cite the label and catalog number for the LP performance. len.
