I have only seen the PY one time, but I did note that the filter that is supposed to protect their pump is much thinner and flimsier than the PNS one. I don't feel that it is any more effective than protecting the pump than the PNS one. Reps are telling us LC's that it protects the pump, but they can not provide us with the written evidence to back up that verbal claim any more than the Medela reps can. I have asked myself and know of other LC's who have too. It is still single user pump and should be sold as so. Please let us know of your own experience with the Hollister pump. I fell pumps should net be resold or loaned from mom tomom, because that second or third mom does not get a pump that is at its best and it may not work for mom. And the various little mini pumps from assorted companies are generally not worth half of what they cost, esp. the Evenflo, I have had so many moms get that pump from Wal-Mart and come to me with circle cuts on their nipples from its forceful suction..... its quite sad to see these poor moms mutilated by a pump like this.
