A gastroenterologist who spoke on "reflux" at the Emory Conference last
year suggested that babies who spit up a lot (as in hypermilk,
formilk/hindmilk imbalance), should be placed on their sides to prevent
aspirating when on their backs.  I like the idea of nursing "against gravity"
because that gives the babies "tummy time".  Has anyone ever questioned that
the lower SIDS rate may in fact be due to the HIGHER BREASTFEEDING RATE.
HMMMMMMMMM.
