Len Fehskens mentioned Kevin Oldham's Piano Concerto.  It's a romantic
work and shows the promise this young man had.  We'll never know what more
he might have done, since he died of AIDS in 1993.  The concerto can be
heard on a Catalyst release titled Memento Bittersweet (09026-61979).
