Very clear and concise description.

I agree with Pat Gima's reasoning. Fluid buildup in middle ear could
cause dizziness in the baby due to pressure transmitted to inner ear.

If so, maybe a decongestant might help open Eustachian tube for better
aeration of middle ear?

Just a random thought.
