Does anyone work at a hospital where there are policies in place for medical
management of newborn hyperbilirubinemia, including parameters for
post-discharge treatment and hospital readmission for that diagnosis?

I have been requested by my colleagues to submit this question to the group.
I work at a hospital(approx. 3000 del./yr.) where we see variations in
regards to interventions by many different private practice physicians.

I have reviewed jaundice, hyperbilirubinemia, and hospital protocols in the
archives and have not found the specific answer I am looking for.

If anyone has these policies/protocols in place, please email me privately.

Thanks,
