Hello folks,

Is there anyone out there that uses wooden cell cups to graft into? I
recently got some and was wondering how to prepare them so that I can graft
the larvae into them. DO they need to be wax coated on the inside? I
appreciate any help I can get on this matter!!

Also, I have a very strong colony that just lost its queen about 3 days
ago... Can I use it to put the grafted queen cells into. Should I leave
them there until they are capped...? Or take them and put them into a
queenright colony for finishing, making sure the queen is below an excluder?
Please advise me what to do... I have lots of bees available, so number of
colonies is not really a problem.

Thanks,

Carm
