I know nothing about this drug. However, the *conservative* approach is to keep breastfeeding. The company *always* says the mother should stop breastfeeding. That is not a useful tack--to ask the company. They are not worried about the mother's or baby's breastfeeding. They are worried about their liability. The fact that the drug is experimental in no way makes the *principles* of drugs and their excretion in milk any different. Chances are very little will get into the milk. What you can ask the company, though, is why this drug is given by injection? Is it possible that it is not absorbed from the gut, in which case, it will probably be safe during lactation?
