I know you said she tried a cup but sometimes different types of "sippee"
cups can be tried. Also spoon feeding may work and even a very thin gruel of
cereal w/ br. milk (I realize the baby is only 3 mos old, but.....)
Since baby is doing poorly and not gaining well, the best course of action
IMHO would be for mother IF AT ALL POSSIBLE to decrease her work schedule or
quit work IF POSSIBLE. What is the alternate care situation like? Like is
baby at day care or with family member, maybe look into this?
There are many posts in archives on situations like this and on how to
gently convince baby to take a bottle or cup if that is what is desired, so
maybe check the archives.
