Volume one of the Bach Contemporaries series from Hyperion was devoted to
the sacred music of Kuhnau; that was an excellent disc of highly worthy
music. The second volume of the series has just been released and contains
sacred music of Sebastian Knupfer (1633-1676). I'll surely pick up the new
volume which, as volume one, is performed by Robert King and the King's
Consort. Vocal soloists include Robin Blaze and James Bowman.

I was wondering if any list members are familiar with the music of Knupfer
and could make a comparison with Kuhnau's music.
