There is a magnificent rendition of the suite on Decca feom Solti and the
Chicago. I am not normally a big Solti buff, but this one is a winner!

In many ways he was a "Soviet" composer. But I cannot recall ever reading
anything to the effect that he suffered in the same ways as Shostakovich did
under the Soviets.
