I e-mailed Sen. Boxer about the issue, even though I'm not a CA resident.  She needs to know just how ill-conceived that idea is!  Talk about a great way to lower the already dismal US BFing rates!!!  Hopefully she will be bombarded with e-mails and will call for a more appropriate action - maybe, I dunno, cutting the sources of toxic exposure in the first place?!?
