This gassy, frequent feeder may have a mother with an OAMER. She feels
like she is full after just a few minutes because half of what she
swallowed was air (from the gulping). She burps, she farts, she fusses.
Then when all the air is out---she is hungry.  She may also not get
enough of the fat in the milk  to hold her over. It is also the fat in
the milk which makes her poop.
There are many suggestions to help the mother over this : anything from
pumping or hand expressing off the first let-down to scissor hold.
