Could the product be Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) Cream which is used for
burns and has anti-yeast activity?
If so, especially if the mother cleans of the nipple area before breastfeeding,
there should not be much of a problem for the infant.  If it is some other
silver containing compounded product that I am not familiar with, then the
recommendation MIGHT be different.
