Anyone seen the Similac commercial on mommy wars? I've seen it, but frankly the subliminal and not so subliminal messages didn't hit until one of my clients who is struggling with milk supply brought it to my attention today. Go look it up if you can. Here's one link don't know if it will work. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=mommy+wars+similac+commercial&qpvt=mommy+wars+similac+commercial&FORM=VDRE#view=detail&mid=757FA7488A742EC28E2B757FA7488A742EC28E2B It purports to suggest that moms should just get along and think about what is best for the baby. But it makes fun of natural birthing, portrays breastfeeding mothers as mean, competitive and vindictive and formula mothers as being kind and non-competitive. IT really is another blow in the mommy war battle, and a commercial for "let's just get along and formula-feed and not try so hard."

What did you see?
