I have just recently become aware of the problems with a tight labial (or
upper lip) frenulum. There seems to be little info available in the current
data. I have seem symptoms including: sore nipples in mom, clicking, white
upper lip with red wrinkle in baby after nursing, curling in of upper lip
and problems flanging, seeing the frenulum attached between the front teeth
(in older baby) connected to the lip as well as first suck assessment
appearing "normal."

Has anyone seen any data regarding treatment? Are there any known sequalae
such as speech problems?
