Thanks for the link, Karleen!  I also liked the article and did add my
comment.  Perhaps because I was a new logger, it would not allow me to write
more than I did.  What is important to me is that good mothering of young
children is not just about breastfeeding, it is also about the nurturing
that occurs.  The moms need to be with their children because their children
need them.  Financial assistance can help with that instead of separating
the dyad and paying for daycare.as long as the assistance is not abused.
