This one sounds very familiar! Does it make a difference which side
the baby is lying on? I did see one where this made a difference in
baby's ability to breathe at the same time as she was nursing.
Positioning so that baby's chin is tilted higher sometimes helps.
Using a "straddle" position (baby is basically "sitting" on mom's
leg) helps with some variations of the airway.
Sometimes you just have to get the breastmilk in the baby with
whatever method works until baby "grows out of" the condition if
possible or the condition is corrected. Any baby with a respiratory
challenge will take longer to nurse as they need to pause frequently
to "catch up" on their breathing.
