and hoped all the NICU and PICU nurses had the confidence in

Apparently, twitter reports suggest that NICU and PICU babies had to be carried down 9 flights of steps.  We live above the area of electrical outage.   I think the preparations in New York City minimized loss of life even if there is a lot of damage to property and to the subway system. I'm hoping others in the path of the storms are safe and well.
