Here we go again!

Another misrepresentation of breastfeeding and warning about how dangerous
it can be to breastfeed a baby on the bus. This is being compared with such
unsafe behaviors as living a child home alone or forgetting a child in a
locked vehicle!
The absence of knowledge is stunning and I wonder what are the alternatives
to nursing the baby on the bus in a country, where lots of people routinely
take 2 and 3 hour bus rides. In these circumstances the bottle is much more
dangerous than breast. And dehydration is nothing to sneeze at. The saddest
thing is that this is that the person writing an article is not a
sensation-seeking journalist, but a "child safety expert"!
I left a comment, but they do not publish all comments, and I am pretty sure
mine will not make it there.

Henya, who reads, knits and nurses on the bus, sometimes at three at the
same time.
