We are revising our postpartum pt. education hand outs that are given to all moms at admission to postpartum unit.
There was a portion that went into detail on bottlefeeding.
We already have to WHO handout on Formula Preparation and another handout on Bottlefeeding available to give moms who chose to formula feed.
My question is: Are we clear to routinely educate all patients on bottlefeeding in a Baby Friendly Hospital?
I recommended that portion be taken out...but can I get some feed back from other Baby Friendly Hospitals...on how you handle this?
Thanks :)
