I have observed that those Moms are afraid to come close to the baby so
deep latch might be impossible until healing occurs --again it is a
situation where you have to feel out Mom and what her needs are. If they
will quit because we are recommending to just improve the latch, then
try another route. It is a balancing act.

Now for the Shuco pump, I do remember the finger control for suction
instead of constant suction--being very old that I am ! ;-)
