Purged yourself of all those critiques, Susan...?! Off list, you mean?
I'd like to encourage everyone to just use the delete button if you feel you
have no time or interest to read postings written by the most knowledgable
among us.
Don't blame the extensive writers for extensively sharing their insights and
excellent work.
Lactnet is not an obligation; it is a means to raise your own level of
expertise *voluntarily*.
Let's be grateful for the fact that we have such a wealth to draw from.
There's more than enough simplistic communication in the world taking short
cuts to poorly underpinned conclusions.
What's called 'cutting to the chase' is often 'leaving out important aspects
that greatly influence the whole picture'.
We all need people like Susan (and Jean and Liz and Rachel) to shed more
light on often dark issues.
No, I haven't read Susan's posting yet; I wish I had more time for Lactnet
anyway.
Yet I applaud your thoroughness immensely, Susan, and admire your level of
thinking.

Warmly,

Marianne Vanderveen-Kolkena IBCLC, Netherlands (and very familiar with
complaints about long contributions ;o))
