I don't have studies or research on this topic, however I can tell you that I myself match the size of your client. 5'4", 120 lbs. pre pregnancy, etc. I have breast feed my two children (not as long as I would if I could go back) a total of 18 months. My breast changes were similar to your client, I began pre-pregnancy DD very small, actually during breast feeding with my first they well exceeded an F cup for some time. However, my youngest is now 4 and I fit very comfortably into a DD (which I didn't before). My husband and I have both noticed they are smaller (and not as heavy and ackward) Hope that helps.
