UNICEF estimates that 1 to 1.5 million children die every year from not
being breastfed.  Undoubtedly this is a rough estimate and must depend
on reporting of infant mortality from places where infant mortality is
guessed at, at best.  It also probably depends on how you define
breastfeeding, and what contribution various diseases such as measles,
to which artificially fed children are more susceptible, make to infant
mortality.

The media are controlled by big business.  Nestle et al are big business
and they are buddy buddy with the publishers.  Ever wonder why the Wall
Steet Journal would do a big article (front page, several columns) on
dehydration?
