I don't think it makes any sense to use an SNS first few days. Colostrum expressed to a spoon and given to baby is the best idea, SNS would require a volume -after mom's milk comes in an SNS is more appropriate or if using donor milk. Hand expression is probably the best way to get colostrum without wasting any on pump parts.  Pat in SNJ
