Hi everyone!
I received a question from a mom recently who had heard from her LC that
if she took oral antibiotics that they would kill off the good antibodies
in her breastmilk. I understand that antibiotics do kill off both good
and bad antibodies in our bodies, but does this hold true for breastmilk
also? I have a hard time believing that enough of the antibiotic enters
into the milk to kill off good antibodies...or at least not *all* of
them.

Does anyone have any insight into this? Specific references to studies or
research?

TIA
Nicki Clark
