I need help from Dr. Jack or Dr. Tom.........
A mom stopped to see me today - I helped her breast feed her now 4 year
old.  She is taking Prozac, 40mg twice daily and Lovox, 200mg daily.  These
are being taken for obsessive/compulsive behavior.  She is due in October
and wants to breast feed again.  I know we have talked about
Prozac........it seems that Luvox is much the same drug.....are they safe,
or is either safer (her doc said she can go off one), the doc also said
they baby's levels would have to be tested OFTEN if she breast fed.
Any thoughts???????
