My review of Hygeia pumps

The EnJoye LBI's have been known to malfunction (they have a internal rechargeable battery) and I will not longer buy these pumps however I love the regular EnJoye pump and the EnDeare.

What I like about them:
1. They are less expensive than Medela
2. They are closed pump systems
3. The suction is just as strong (and stronger than some Medela pumps) as the Medela pumps
4. They have a record button that can record the baby's cry
5. The pump function is long lasting
6. Since they are closed pump systems, you can rent out the personal electric pumps to give mothers a cheaper rental option (for example: renting to mothers with an established supply who are returning to work).
7. The Enjoye's can come with a diaper bag, changing pad, cooler, ice pack, and a one year subscription to LLL.

What I don't like about the Hygeia pumps:
1. The flanges are connected to the connector which makes it harder to switch out flange sizes.
2. Their customer service is subpar
3. They do not have a single electric pump
4. The record button is not covered so if you carry it around in a bag, it can get pressed and the baby's recording will be recorded over.
